VR750TT/VR1500TT/VR3000TT 750W/1500W/3000W Vector Series NAVTEX TransmittersSince introducing the world’s first totally solid state, high power radio beacon in 1970, Nautel has supplied the highest quality and reliability in solid state LF/MF/HF and VHF transmission systems around the world. The most recent Vector Transmitters and Antenna Tuning Units for the MF NAVTEX shore stations continue this heritage and provide a dramatic improvement in system coverage. The Nautel Vector NAVTEX System offers a unique, patented solution to maintain system coverage regardless of undesirable antenna effects such as salt build-up on antenna insulators and ground plane resistance changes. Highlights include:

Synthesized Exciter with Advanced DDS TechnologyA synthesized exciter uses advanced Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) technology to produce highly stable RF drive at the desired operating frequency. This state-of-the-art technology provides the dual frequency (490 kHz and 518 kHz) RF Drive with a frequency stability of ± 0.0003% over the full environmental range. The DDS also generates FSK at the necessary baud rates which are well within the requirements of ITU-R SM.328-11 and ITU-R SM.329-10. |

Extensive Remote Control & Monitoring for Fewer Site VisitsPassword-protected remote control and monitoring of the Vector NAVTEX transmitter and ATU-HP-TT is available via the optional VR-Link-TT remote control and monitoring system. System diagnostics and access to the 256 event log are also available via the VR-Link-TT. The VR-Link–TT, using a text based display, hosts a web page that can be accessed by any standard web browser so no special software is required at the remote PC/laptop. Remote connectivity options include RS-232, RS-422, leased-line, dial-up, radio and GSM/GPRS modems, and Ethernet. The capability is also optionally offered to connect to an existing remote control/monitor system via optically isolated Inputs and form C contact outputs. |
High Overall Efficiency (70% or better)The use of Class D RF amplification and Pulse Duration Modulation (PDM) techniques results in low power consumption and reduced operating costs. |
